Minuteman Press Hollywood has been serving the entertainment industry since 1985. We are located at the center of it — on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood — and our clients include productions, studios, agencies, and event teams who need signage and print materials that perform in high-stakes environments. The vinyl and print requirements for an outdoor red carpet entrance differ from those of a glass-walled screening room or a hotel ballroom premiere. Below are the most common event formats we work with, and what we typically produce for each.

Rush Turnaround & Venue Delivery
Events do not move. The premiere is on Saturday whether your files are finalized on Wednesday or not. Rush production and venue delivery are available — but both require advance coordination. The earlier you contact us, the more options we can offer you.

| Venue Delivery Delivery to your event venue is available for qualifying orders. Hollywood venues, hotel event spaces, screening rooms, studio lots, and outdoor event sites are within our service area. Delivery logistics — timing, venue access requirements, load-in windows — vary by location and must be confirmed in advance. Include your venue address and event schedule when requesting a quote. Last-minute delivery requests cannot always be accommodated. Plan ahead. |
Preparing Your Files
Vinyl graphics and large-format print have different technical requirements than standard document printing. Submitting files incorrectly is one of the most common reasons an event order misses its deadline.
- File format: PDF is preferred for all large-format and vinyl work. Illustrator (.ai) files with packaged fonts and linked assets are also accepted.
- Resolution: For large-format vinyl output, supply files at 100–150 DPI at actual output dimensions. Do not submit a small file and ask us to enlarge it.
- Color mode: CMYK for print. RGB files will be converted, but critical brand colors — particularly reds and blacks — can shift in conversion. Supply CMYK files when color accuracy is non-negotiable, or request a proof.
- Bleed: Include a minimum 0.25-inch bleed on all edges for any material that will be trimmed or edge-finished.
- Logos: All logos should be supplied as vector files (.ai, .eps, or vector PDF). JPEG logos pulled from websites will not reproduce cleanly at event scale.
- Proof approval: For high-stakes event work, we strongly recommend requesting a digital proof before production begins. Build proof review time into your schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I place an event order?
For a full event signage package, allow at least five to seven business days from the point of approved, print-ready files. Rush production is available but requires advance discussion — not a same-day request. The earlier you contact us, the more flexibility we have.
Can you match our brand or studio colors exactly?
We calibrate our equipment for accurate, consistent color output. For critical brand color matches, request a proof print before approving the full production run. This is the only reliable way to confirm accuracy before your event.
Can event vinyl be removed after the event without damaging the surface?
Our event and temporary vinyl range is specifically designed with removable adhesive and repositionable options. For venue installations where surface protection is a concern, confirm the surface type and any restrictions when placing your order so we can recommend the appropriate material.
Do you work directly with event production companies and PR firms?
Yes. We work with event producers, publicists, and entertainment PR firms managing print on behalf of their clients. If you have recurring event needs, ask about setting up an account.
